Redbeard’s Ruby – Fortune Map Game Rules

This game is a video slot with 6×4 reels and 20 fixed paylines.

All line wins are paid from left-to-right on adjacent reels starting from the left-most reel.

All paytable symbols pay for 3 or more adjacent symbols on an active payline, except the Redbeard symbol, which pays for 2 or more adjacent symbols on an active payline.

The highest win per payline is paid only.

There are 4 low value symbols represented by card suits; and 5 high value symbols with Pirate theming (Cutlass, Pistol, Ship, Parrot, Redbeard).

Additional symbols are Bonus (3 or more in view trigger Free Spins), and the Ruby (triggers Redbeard’s Mystery feature, when landing in view along with any full stack of Redbeard symbols) and Wild.

Re-Trigger

During Free Spins any Bonus symbols landing in view are added to a 15-stage trail. For every 3 steps filled on the trail, a spin of the Bonus Wheel is awarded (feature re-trigger).

The bonus wheel initially has 2 discs. The inner disc awards +3, +4, +5 or +6 additional Free Spins.

The outer disc can award: +1 Sticky Wild, +2 Sticky Wilds, +1 Sticky Super Wild, +1 Sticky Mega Wild, or Pot Prize.

Sticky Super Wilds and Sticky Mega Wilds act as regular Wilds, but also multiply any line wins they are part of (Super Sticky Wild awards X2, Mega Sticky Wild awards X5).

If multiple Super or Mega Sticky Wilds form part of the same line win, the multipliers are added together.

Sticky Wilds awarded from the Bonus Wheel are added to the reels before any payline wins for that Free Spin are awarded.

Redbeard’s Mystery Bonus

Redbeard’s Mystery Bonus is triggered by landing a Ruby symbol in view on reel 6, with one or more full stacks of Redbeard symbols on reels 1 to 5.

Fortune Map

The base game features a 6×5 square treasure map, which contains 1 x Free Spins, and 3 Sticky Wilds hidden amongst its 30 squares.

Landing 2 Bonus symbols in view awards a map pick, where the player can reveal the outcome of a square. The possible outcomes from a map pick are: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MEGA, Free Spins, +1 Sticky Wild, or a blank map square (cash values are shown as multipliers of base bet).

Any Sticky Wilds revealed are added to a meter. If Free Spins are awarded from the map, the accumulated Sticky Wilds are awarded at the start of the feature. Accumulated Sticky Wilds are not awarded for Free Spins triggered from 3 Bonus symbols in view, only via a map pick.

The map state and accumulated Sticky Wilds are persistent between picks (on the same bet and game mode) and will only reset once Free Spins have been revealed (Free Spins occurring from a reel spin won’t reset the map).

On first entry to the game, and when map is re-initialised, 5 blank squares are revealed on the map to give the player a head-start.

Golden Bet

Golden Bet can be activated at an additional cost of x1.5 bet.

When activated, Free Spins are triggered twice as frequently.

Wins are paid according to the pay table and are based on the base bet.

Golden Bet applies to base game only and has no effect in Free Spins.

How to Calculate Payline Wins

To calculate your total payline win, calculate all payline wins and add them together. To calculate a single payline win, count the number of identical symbols lined up in sequence on the line. If two or more identical symbols are lined up, find the win value in the dynamic Pay Table. There you can find the value for all symbols for 2-in-a-row, 3-in-a-row, 4-in-a-row, 5-in-a-row, and 6-in-a-row. Only the highest winning combination per line is paid out.
